New Delhi, May 12, 2021, Wednesday

India is witnessing a shortage of vaccines amid corona outbreaks. The Center and the states are facing this issue.

While India has so far sent 6.68 crore doses of the vaccine abroad and the Opposition is questioning it, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra clarified that the Indian government has sent only 1.07 crore doses of this aid as against 84 per cent. So the government had to send them to comply with the earlier agreement. Because the two companies producing vaccines in India have agreements with other countries. They have to give the vaccine because India is getting raw material from them.

He said 78 lakh doses have been given to seven neighboring countries because the border needs to be safe. On the other hand, two lakh doses have been sent to the UN. The doses are for peacekeepers, including Indian troops. World Health According to the agreement reached with the organization, India has to supply 30 per cent of the vaccine to a number of countries at fixed prices. It has signed the agreement. 14 per cent of the vaccine has gone to Britain. The living Indian community had booked first.

The revelation from the BJP comes at a time when states, including Delhi, are saying there is a shortage of vaccines and people are clamoring for vaccines.
