The wife of Vibhuti Dhaudial, a martyred jawan from Pulwama, will join the Army

Major Jawan Vibhuti Dhaudial, who challenged the terrorists, was martyred on February 8, 2016 in Pulwama, Union Territory of Kashmir. He was 9 years old when this clever young man from Dehradun, Uttarakhand was martyred. Vibhuti Dhaudial was married to Nikita Kaul on April 19, six months before she was martyred. Following in the footsteps of her husband who was martyred while facing terrorists, Nikita has also decided to join the Army. Nikita, who did not live with her husband, was shocked but did not give up.

She passed the Women Entry Scheme examination in Allahabad and trained at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. The wife of this Major Shahid is ready to join the Army as a lieutenant after completing her training. When Vibhuti Dhaudial's body was brought to her hometown, Nitika said sarcastically saying I love you Vibhu. This unique tribute to Nikita was much noted at the time. Nikita is related to a displaced family from Kashmir. Vibhuti's father late Omprakash Dhaudial had only one son out of four children besides three daughters. From an early age, his son Vibhuti was sent to the Army as he was interested in Army life.
