The Western Command of the Army built three new hospitals and dedicated them to the country

- Build hospitals on a war footing for Koro patients in Chandigarh, Patiala and Faridabad

In view of the growing number of coronavirus patients in the country, Kovid Hospitals are being set up at various locations across the country. The army's Western Command has dedicated three new hospitals to Dene on Monday. The first hospital has been opened in Chandigarh, which has been operational since Monday. Another 100-bed hospital is set to open in Faridabad, Delhi today. Apart from this, a hospital has also been set up in Patiala, Punjab. All three will be treated at the hospital.

According to the Indian Army's Western Command at Chandimandir, the three hospitals have been built on a war footing in collaboration with the local administration. General patients with corona virus will be treated in these three hospitals. Only Army doctors and paramedics will work in hospitals in Chandigarh, Patiala and Faridabad.

Apart from this these three hospitals have been prepared as per the guidelines of ICMR. Lab, X-ray and pharmacy facilities are also available in all the three hospitals. According to the army, all the citizens of the country will be able to get treatment at these three hospitals. However, walk-in admission will not be available in these hospitals. All patients will have to contact the Chief Medical Officer of that district for this. Discharge from this hospital will be given with the consent of Army doctors.

A 100-bed hospital has been started inside the Punjab University stadium in Chandigarh. Apart from this, a 100-bed hospital is also going to be started at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College in Faridabad. A military hospital will also be set up at Rajendra Government College in Patiala, Punjab from Wednesday.
