The shortage of vaccines will go away, serum will produce 100 million doses next month

In a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah, Serum said its employees were working 24 hours a day. Serum production capacity is currently 65 million doses.

"We are pleased to announce that we will be able to manufacture and supply nine to 100 million doses of the Covishield vaccine in June," Prakash Kumar Singh, SII's director of government and regulatory affairs, said in a letter.

“We assure you that under the support and guidance of the Government of India, we are striving to make the best use of our resources to increase vaccine production capacity in the coming months,” he said.
