The monsoon will reach Kerala tomorrow, the weather department forecast

The Indian Meteorological Department has said that the monsoon is likely to arrive on the Kerala coast by tomorrow, May 31.

According to the meteorological department, the monsoon is moving ahead as per schedule. It will arrive in Kerala on May 31 and reach Goa by June 5. The meteorological department also said that there will be average rainfall this time.

The Indian monsoon usually reaches Kerala by June 1 and the first rains arrive in Goa by June 5. However, the last two weeks have seen heavy rains in some parts of the country due to two storms in the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.

The meteorological department's forecast for the arrival of monsoon in Kerala for the last 16 years has come true. This year too, the meteorological department has forecast a normal monsoon.

If the monsoon continues as predicted, the monsoon will reach Mumbai by June 15. However, the people of North India will have to wait for the monsoon. The monsoon here usually starts from July 1.
