The father of the martyred pilot joined hands and told the government that banning MiG-21, young people are losing their lives.

The body of pilot Abhinav Chaudhary, who lost his life in a MiG-21 crash near Moga in Punjab, was taken to his hometown.

This is what millions of people in the country are talking about at the moment, Abhinav's father said with tears in his eyes. He appealed to the government to ban MiG-21s in the country now. The youth of the country are flying old old planes. "My son is leaving today but the government should shut down these planes now so that no one else's life is lost in the future," he lamented. This is a question of someone's life.

After Abhinav Chaudhary was martyred, his body was brought to his home in Meerut. He was then taken to his ancestral village at Baghpat for burial. The cremation was carried out with full respect to the martyred pilot. Meanwhile, grief was spread by the cries of his wife, sisters and family members.

Abhinav Chaudhary joined the Air Force in 2014 and took only one rupee from his in-laws in his marriage in protest of the dowry practice. For this he was highly praised all over the country.

On Thursday night, Abhinav Chaudhary flew from Suratgarh airbase in Rajasthan at night for his routine practice in a MiG-21. He was on a practice mission and was returning to Suratgarh airbase after completing the mission when the aircraft malfunctioned. The pilot jumped out of the plane at the last minute. The pilot's body was found eight acres from where the plane crashed.
