Samajwadi Party MP and leader Azam Khan was undergoing treatment in a jail after he succumbed to his injuries.
However, his condition is critical. Now he has to be given more oxygen than before. However, doctors say that his son's condition has improved.
SP MP Azam Khan, who has been lodged in Sitapur jail for 15 years, fell ill on Sunday. He was later shifted to Lucknow for further treatment. Azam Khan's son Abdullah has also been admitted here. Initially, Azam Khan was given four liters of oxygen. He is being given a liter of oxygen. He is being kept in the ICU. A team of doctors is monitoring him while his son is in good condition.
Azam Khan also had difficulty getting a bed in this private hospital. Two police officers have also been appointed for his protection.
