The second wave of Corona has also uncovered some shocking cases. A similar shocking case has come to light at Sir Sundar Lal Hospital of Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. In this hospital Corona’s negative mother gave birth to Corona’s positive baby.

Anil Kumar's 26-year-old pregnant wife, who lives in the cantonment area of Varanasi, was already undergoing treatment at Sir Sundar Lal Hospital. Delivery date was given on the 25th of the current month. Doctors told the woman to report corona before delivery.

According to hospital sources, the woman's report in the investigation was negative. The baby was then delivered on May 25 by surgery. Corona was also reported in newborns. Everyone was shocked when the child's report came positive. However both the woman and the baby are healthy.

The child's father suspects that Corona has not been properly investigated. However, the medical superintendent of the hospital said that this is not a big deal as the sensitivity of RT-PCR is up to 70 per cent. The mother and child will be re-reported RT-PCR, according to the superintendent.
