With the second wave of corona now plaguing people with the fear of black fungus, while cases of black fungus are on the rise across the country, there are many discussions about the causes of this black fungus. In the midst of all these discussions, Dr. Uma Kumar of AIIMS has expressed alarming fears of a black fungus infection.

Dr. Uma Kumar, Head and Professor, Department of Rheumatology, AIIMS, Delhi, has written a tweet about the infection of black fungus. In the tweet, he expressed concern that industrial oxygen, not steroids, was responsible for the transition to black fungus. He wrote in this tweet.

Experts say that industrial oxygen undoubtedly saves patients 'lives, but with this, the pollution in patients' noses has become a cause of black fungus. In the life-saving cycle of coronary infection patients, oxygen and nitrogen cylinders had to be filled with oxygen and sent to hospitals without complete cleaning. Lack of hygiene of the cylinders can also cause black fungus.
