Pondicherry: BJP-backed NDA leads by 11 seats and Congress-backed UPA by 5 seats

Given the initial trend in the ongoing counting of votes for the Union Territory of Pondicherry, it looks like an NDA government will be formed here.

The BJP-backed NDA is leading in 11 seats and the Congress and its allies are leading in five seats. The Congress government is in power here. Seems to live.

Exit polls for Pondicherry also predict an NDA government here. The prediction seems to be coming true. Exit polls suggest NDA at 52 per cent and UPA at 37 per cent.
