News of relief amid the threat of black fungus, the US company will give 10 million amphotericin injections

The difficulty is exacerbated by the black fungus between the second wave of corona. More than 11,000 cases of black fungus have been reported in the country so far. The highest incidence of black fungus is in Gujarat where it has 2,800 cases while Maharashtra has 2,700 cases. In Andhra Pradesh, 700 patients are facing black fungus while in the national capital, Delhi, there are 620 cases of black fungus.

There has also been a shortage of injections for the treatment of black fungus due to increasing cases. Prime Minister Modi has ordered that amphotericin injections for the treatment of black fungus be made available from anywhere. Due to this, the health department had approached several countries and it was learned that the US-based Gilead Sciences Board has come forward to supply vaccines to India.

So far, more than 121,000 vials of amphotericin injection have reached India. While another 85,000 vials are on the way. It is learned that the US company will provide about 1 million doses. The rest of the countries are being approached in the same way. The government is working to ensure that there is no shortage of drugs or injections to fight the black fungus.
