Lockdown in Bihar till May 15 amid growing Corona riots, CM Nitish Kumar announces

The second wave of Corona virus is wailing in the country. Which is not taking the name of closure. Due to which lockdown is being implemented in one state after another. Then one more name has been added to this list. The Bihar government has also announced a lockdown till May 15 in view of the outbreak of the corona virus.

Announcing this, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that May has decided to implement a lockdown in the state today on the Cabinet proposal. It has also ordered the release of detailed guidelines on lockdown. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that after discussions with associate ministers and office bearers tomorrow, it has been decided to implement a lockdown in Bihar till May 15, 2021. Guidelines in this regard will be released soon.

Earlier, the Odisha and Haryana governments had also announced a lockdown in the state. Corona virus outbreak has also been reported in Bihar. This has led to shortage of beds and oxygen in hospitals. The Bihar government was under constant pressure to impose a lockdown to break the chain of the Corona virus. That is when the lockdown has been implemented in the state today.
