Mamata Banerjee was sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third time on May 5. Less than 10 days after taking the oath, he has started quarreling with Governor Jagdeep Dhankad. The 'letter war' between Governor Jagdeep Dhankad and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lasted all day on Wednesday.

First Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to him and later the governor wrote a letter to her in response. In fact, violence erupted in Bengal soon after the election results came out, killing many people. The BJP had leveled allegations against the TMC, while the TMC had leveled allegations against the BJP. The governor will on Thursday visit all the areas where the violence took place, including Sitalkuchi in Cooch Behar. This was the beginning of a tussle between Mamata Banerjee and the Governor on this issue.

The Bengal governor tweeted that he would visit the violence-hit areas, including Sitalkuchi in Cooch Behar, on May 13. Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter protesting the move, calling the governor's visit a violation of the rules.

"I came to know through social media that you are going to visit Cooch Behar on May 13," he wrote in the letter. It is a violation of the rules that have been in place in the state for decades. Because of this I hope you will follow the protocol and avoid your own visit. '

Expressing surprise over Mamata Banerjee's letter, the governor wrote in reply, "She should consider the need for a government order to visit the governor." I urge you to pay attention to the way violence has erupted in Bengal after the election results.

The governor is also scheduled to visit Assam on Thursday as it has been claimed that the violence has forced people to stay in Assam as refugees.
