Israeli president talks with Indian caretaker's family, killed in Hamas rocket attack

The war is raging between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. Soumya Santosh, an Indian care taker living in Israel, was killed in a recent rocket attack by Hamas. Meanwhile, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has spoken to Soumya's family and expressed his condolences.

Soumya, a 30-year-old Kerala resident, worked caring for an elderly woman at a home in Ashkelon, Israel. She was talking on a video call with her husband when Hamas rockets hit the city. Meanwhile, the Israeli government has taken the death of the Indian caretaker very seriously. The President of Israel himself has spoken to the family of Satisfaction. However, the President's Office has not announced what happened.

Ron Malka, Israel's ambassador to India, also spoke to Soumya Santosh's family last week. "Our whole country is in mourning over Soumya's demise and we are with her family," he said.

Soumya has been living in Israel for a year. She also has a nine-year-old son. Who lives in Kerala with Soumya's husband. Soumya's body was brought to Kochi on May 16. Funerals were then held in the homeland.
