For the third day in a row, the number of coronaviruses in the country has dropped below 3 lakh. However, there was a modest increase on Tuesday. But there has been no significant decline in the death toll. A total of 2,67,122 lakh cases of corona virus were reported in the country on Tuesday and 3,912 people lost their lives.

The highest number of 4,14,554 cases was reported in the country on May 6 and the number of cases has been declining since then. The number of infections has dropped dramatically in the last 12 days but is still the highest in the world.

Maharashtra

On Tuesday, 28,438 new cases of corona infection were reported in Maharashtra, which is 1,822 less than on Monday. 679 people have died due to the transition in the region. The total number of infected people in the region has risen to 54,33,506 and 83,777 people have died, according to the health department.
