Elderly and crippled citizens will be given Corona vaccine at home, directed public


- Vaccination centers will be set up at community centers, RWA centers, group housing society centers, panchayat houses, school buildings etc.

Central Government to facilitate Corona Vaccination for Elderly and Disabled Citizens Near to Home Covid Vaccine Center (NHCVC) for Citizens Over 60 years and Persons with Disabilities

Has issued guidelines regarding. The National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Corona (NEGVAC) has recommended the proposal of a technical expert committee of the Union Ministry on the guidelines of the Near Home Covid Vaccination Center for Elderly and Disabled Citizens.

The NHCVC will pursue a community-based, flexible and people-centered approach to bring Corona vaccination centers closer to home. The purpose of the technical expert committee is to make such a decision because of the physical condition of senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Where the Covid Center will be opened

Under this, Vaccination Centers will be set up at Community Center, RWA Center, Group Housing Society Center, Panchayat Ghar, School Bhavan etc. All citizens over the age of 60 who have not yet received the corona vaccine or are yet to receive a second dose and disabled citizens will be able to join the NHCVC for corona vaccination. While the rest have to go to the designated centers for vaccination.
