Eight corona patients die at another Delhi hospital due to lack of oxygen

At another hospital in Delhi, eight corona patients, including a doctor, died due to lack of oxygen.

According to the details received, there has been a shortage of oxygen in Delhi for several days and the government cannot solve the problem. Even though the High Court has slammed the government, people are dying due to lack of oxygen. The issue was constantly being reported by the hospital. Even yesterday, five tonnes of oxygen was provided, creating an emergency. However, this oxygen was only enough to last for several hours.

The state government along with the Delhi Police was also informed at 7 am as the lives of 300 patients were at stake. Half of them were being given high flow oxygen. However, it was too late for the oxygen tanker to reach the hospital at half past one in the afternoon. Eight patients died here, including the hospital's senior doctor and the head of the gastrology department. They also needed oxygen.

The hospital is still screaming for oxygen. Six of the dying patients were undergoing treatment in the ICU ward. The High Court, meanwhile, held a hearing on the oxygen shortage today and the hospital also informed the court about the matter.
