Corona's new case dropped but death toll still high, with 4,100 deaths in 24 hours

The number of new cases of corona infection in the country has been declining for the last 3 days but the mortality rate of Covid-19 patients is still high. New cases of corona have dropped in the national capital Delhi and Maharashtra but the death toll has not come down. While the speed of transition of corona in South India is still high. The number of corona patients is increasing in many states of South India, including Kerala and Karnataka.

More than 3.10 lakh new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours, according to a WorldDometer report. While 4,100 covid patients wrapped in corona died. Eighty-five per cent of the total cases of COVID-19 in the country were reported from 10 states, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday. While 11 states have more than 1-1 lakh active cases of transition. The transition rate is more than 15 per cent in 24 states of the country. However, the national recovery rate for corona sufferers in India is over 83 per cent.

- 3,10,822 new cases reported in last 24 hours

- A total of 4,090 people died in the last 24 hours

- The total number of corona infections in the country is 2,46,83,065

- 2,07,89,038 patients have recovered so far in the country

- A total of 2,70,319 people have died due to corona in the country so far

- Currently the number of active cases of corona in the country is 36,23,708
