Corona transition speeds down, new cases less than 3 million but death toll still crosses 4,000

There has been a slight decline in the rate of coronary infection in India but there has been no reduction in the mortality rate of covid patients. In the last 24 hours, less than 3 lakh new corona cases have been reported in the country while about 4,100 patients have succumbed to the Kovid epidemic.

In the last 24 hours, 2.81 lakh new cases have been registered, according to a WorldDometer report. The number of new cases of corona is declining in the national capital Delhi and Maharashtra. While the death toll in Maharashtra is still high.

- A total of 2,81,860 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours

- 4,092 people died in the last 24 hours

- The total number of corona infections in the country is 2,49,64,925

- 2,11,67,609 people have recovered in the country so far

- A total of 2,74,411 people died due to corona in the country

The number of active cases of Kovid-19 in the country has come down, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday. At the same time, the transition rate of corona has come down to 16.98 per cent. The number of active patients in the country is 14.66 per cent of the total cases of infection. Out of the total active cases, 74.69 per cent active cases are from 10 states. These include Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh.
