In the southern Chinese province of Guangzhou, the government is reeling from a resurgence of corona.

Today, a number of restrictions have been imposed in the area and people have been told to stay at home. Guangzhou has a population of 1.5 million and is very important as an industrial hub. Only 20 cases have come up but the Chinese government does not want to take any risks.

People are being tested in five areas of the province. Markets have been closed and recreation centers and restaurants have been banned. People in these five areas have been advised to stay at home.
