Corona opens the eyes of the rich: importance of health over wealth

Washington, Sunday 23 May 2021

The Corona epidemic has caused great damage to human life. At the same time, it has taught the world about ideological change. The biggest lesson in this is the change in wealth.

According to some recent surveys, even the wealthy have realized that the prospect of enjoying everything with money is not very true. Even in a rich country like America, relationships and health have changed dramatically. If there is health then there is prosperity. That is what they have come to believe.

In a Boston Private poll of investors in the United States, 60 percent admitted that the epidemic had given them a chance to re-evaluate their understanding of the issue of wealth. People are worried about taxes and many other things but now health care has become their top priority.

On the other hand, the annual survey of Charles Schwab Corp found that middle-income people are more positive about the country's economy in the wake of the epidemic.

Gerald Baker, divisional president of Boston Private, said wealth no longer meant more cash for those involved in the survey. Success is now their guru mantra in whatever work they are doing. The epidemic has provided an opportunity to redefine joy and success.

Agreeing with this, 78% of the people were born in the millennials, that is, in the 1980s and 1990s, while 73% were born in the Generation X, that is, between 1965 and 1980. The group said Corona had changed its plans for future use of the property. However, only 26% of those born between 1946 and 1964 agreed to this.
