Chardham Yatra 2021: Doors of Badrinath Dham opened in Brahmamuhurta, first puja performed in the name of PM

The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened today at 4:15 am at Pushya Nakshatra and Taurus wedding in Brahmamuhurta on Tuesday. In view of the transition to Koro, only Haq-Hakukdharis, Dharmadhikari and Acharya Brahmins were allowed to enter the temple. As soon as the doors of the temple were opened, the Dham resounded with the chanting of Jai Badrinath.

The first puja and anointing at the Dham was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister dedicated the Pooja-Archana and Mahabhishek in the spirit of world welfare and health. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat also greeted the devotees from home and abroad on the occasion of opening the doors of Badrinath Dham. Tirath Singh also prayed that the world would soon be free from the Koro epidemic.

Tirath Singh Rawat said that the Chardham Yatra has been postponed due to the Koro epidemic. He also prayed that people would worship at home in these circumstances.

The Devasthanam Board had made vigorous preparations for the inauguration of the Dham. The gate of Badrinath Dham and other temples were decorated with 20 quintals of flowers.
