The administration has also demolished the disputed site in the Ramsanehighat complex in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, in a lockdown and removed its debris. The district attorney, in his statement, described the disputed site as an illegal premises. However, the Sunni Waqf Board and the Samajwadi Party have condemned the administration's action.

The disputed site at Ramsanehighat came under discussion after the administration demolished the disputed site on May 17 and also removed its debris. Notices were also sent to people living at the disputed religious site built in front of the government residence of SDM Divyanshu Patel of Ramsanehighat.

After that, 3 people living there fled without submitting their IDs. The SDMA later removed the gate of the shrine and made a boundary and took possession of it. The parties also took refuge in the High Court after the tehsil administration issued notices to the people living in the religious place.

The High Court directed the administration to submit the account papers of Masjid Khwaja Garib Nawaz Al Mansoor and the amount of registration to the Sunni Waqf Board within 15 days. The administration, meanwhile, banned entry to the disputed area. In this case, the police registered cases against 39 nominees and 150 unknowns and sent several people to jail.
