BSF jawans capture two teenagers who crossed the border and hand them back to Pakistan

BSF jawans today nabbed two Pakistani teenagers who had crossed the border in Khemkaran sector of Punjab.

Both teenagers are 15 and 17 years old. He is a resident of the same district near the border with Pakistan. He was arrested and handed over to the police. However, after questioning, it was decided to release him on humanitarian grounds.

A Border Security Force official said 14th Battalion personnel spotted two teenagers at the border. They came to India by crossing the zero line. He was then captured by the jawans. Initial inquiries revealed that the two teenagers had inadvertently crossed the Indian border.

The BSF first protested to the Pakistan Rangers and then handed them over to the Rangers. No police action was taken against him from India.

A similar incident took place at the Barmer border in Rajasthan last month. In which a Pakistani teenager had mistakenly entered the Indian border. However, within two hours, India sent him back to Pakistan.
