A bomb blast near a pro-Palestinian rally in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan on Friday killed at least seven people and injured 13 others. The blast took place as the rally was passing through a market in Chaman city, said Liaquat Shahwani, a spokesman for the Balochistan provincial government.

It was initially reported that 6 people were killed and 14 were injured. Of the injured, 10 were admitted to a local hospital while 4 were sent to a hospital in Quetta. Authorities later confirmed the deaths of seven people in the blast. The condition of 3 of the injured is very serious.

The rally was organized to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. It also threatened to destabilize West Asia. The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on for the last 11 days in which more than 240 people have been killed so far.

The rally was organized by the Islamic political organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazaryati (JUI-N). Senior party leaders Abdul Qadir Luni and Kari Mahrulla were also present at the rally. Both leaders are safe. The IED was detonated targeting the vehicle of a religious leader before the rally ended. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. But according to Shahwani, the attackers are opposed to solidarity with Palestine and support Israel.
