Bengal Violence: JP Nadda to reach Bengal today

- Violence erupted in several places in Bengal after the election results, with the BJP blaming the TMC

New delhi date. May 4, 2021, Tuesday

The results of the Bengal Legislative Assembly have come. Mamata Banerjee's party TMC has won 213 seats, while the BJP is content with just 77 seats. So the Congress has not even opened an account in Bengal. For the BJP, Bengal was a question of prestige this time, which is getting out of hand. Mamata Banerjee has proved her leadership by winning for the third time in a row.

However, the history of political violence in Bengal reverberated even after the TMC victory. Violence has erupted in several places in West Bengal since the TMC's victory. The BJP office inside Arambagh was torched, and violence broke out in Koch Vihar. The BJP has blamed the TMC for all the violence. In the midst of all this, BJP national president JP Nadda will arrive in Bengal today.

At the same time, when Mamata Banerjee is sworn in as Chief Minister on May 5, the BJP will stage a nationwide protest. The BJP is preparing for a nationwide agitation against the violence perpetrated by the TMC in Bengal. It is being speculated that JP Nadda will visit Kolkata and surrounding districts, where BJP workers have been killed. Apart from this, JP Nadda will also visit the places where fire and vandalism have taken place in the BJP office.

Apart from this, a one-day dharna will also be held in Kolkata by the Bengal BJP led by JP Nadda. The protest will be in protest of the post-election violence in Bengal. Apart from this, a nationwide picket will be held on the 5th. It may be mentioned that on the one hand, the Corona virus has spread in the country, while on the other hand, the BJP is preparing for a nationwide agitation.
