The second wave of Corona has affected the operations of banks across the country. Only during lockdown do banks have Saturdays, Sundays and some festive holidays. Therefore, banks will be closed for seven days in the next 20 days. The RBI has appealed to consumers to do their work through net banking.
More than four lakh patients have been found in the country for the last four consecutive days. The circular issued by the Reserve Bank states that banks will be closed on various dates.
The bank will be closed for 12 days, the circular said on the RBI's website. This includes weekends. Some of these holidays are over. While eight holidays are left. That means banks will be closed for eight more days in May for the remainder. In which some leave belongs to a fixed state.
Ramzan Eid on 13th May 2021 is Lord Shri Parashuram Jayanti Akshay Tritiya on 14th May, Sunday 16th May, 22nd May 4th Saturday, 23rd May Sunday, 26th May is Buddhist Purnima 30th Sunday.
