- In the United States, both the Democratic and Republican parties are supporting Israel

Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, the Biden administration has allowed the US to sell arms to Israel for .5 735 million, or about Rs 5.4 trillion. Democrat lawmakers have questioned Biden's decision. Earlier, however, it was said that despite the ongoing violence between Israel and Palestine, lawmakers were unlikely to oppose the agreement.
These are the same lawmakers who have protested against the defense agreement and who have fearlessly questioned the US leadership over its support for Israel. The Biden administration has consistently defended Israel. The United States on Sunday blocked a third statement from the United Nations Security Council on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Aides to the three MPs said they were officially notified to parliament on May 5 before a major arms deal was agreed. The Washington Post reported that the sale plan was notified to Parliament in April. But now some lawmakers are questioning the defense deal.
Under U.S. law, Capitol Hill has 15 days to protest a sale after an official notification. But there was no prospect of opposition to the sale because both the Democratic and Republican parties in the United States are supporting Israel.
