Air ambulance makes scary landing in Mumbai


- Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the pilot of the flight decided to make a Bailey landing

Air service is also often used to help patients. Recently, an air ambulance carrying a patient from Nagpur to Hyderabad had to divert to Mumbai. It was learned that while the flight was taking off from Nagpur, one of its tires detached and fell to the ground. Due to this, the flight made an emergency landing at Mumbai.

The C-90 aircraft was to fly from Nagpur to Hyderabad. A total of 5 people were present in the air ambulance which included 2 crew members, a doctor and a patient. An air ambulance took off from Nagpur and soon there was a problem. It was later learned that a wheel had fallen at Nagpur airport during takeoff.

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the pilot of the flight made a Bailey landing and made a safe landing at Mumbai. The patient was then admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. It is learned that all the passengers on the flight are safe. A major mishap was likely to occur if the landing was not made on time.

All necessary arrangements were made for the emergency landing of the air ambulance at Mumbai Airport. CISF, rescue and medical teams were kept on stand-by at the airport for the safety of the passengers.
