In the midst of all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the current situation with several state chief ministers. The Prime Minister held talks with the Chief Ministers of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand as well as the Vice-Governor of Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir.

The second wave of Corona has wreaked havoc in India. The corona case is on the rise amidst oxygen and bed shortages. Many states have already taken steps like lockdown, curfew, night curfew, weekend lockdown and in the midst of all this, a complete lockdown is being discussed in the country. Restrictions apply in states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh.

In this regard, America's top health expert Dr. Antony Fauchi also said that India would have to use all its strength to face its current situation. If the lockdown is implemented it will stop the speed of transmission, at this time the government should make its full preparations.

Third wave warning

The country is currently facing a second wave of corona but experts have also warned of a third wave. The Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of India said that it was certain that the third wave of Corona would come to India. However, it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
