After Hyderabad now two lions in UP's Lion Safari Park infected with corona

New Delhi, May 9, 2021

A few days ago, eight lions were infected with corona at a zoo in Hyderabad and now there are reports of two lions being infected with corona at the Lion Safari Park in Etawah, UP.

Safari Park officials said that two lions, Gauri and Jennifer, were tested and their report came back positive. His blood test samples were also sent for testing.

Both the lions are currently undergoing treatment and are being kept in isolation. Other experts have also been consulted for the treatment. Meanwhile, the system has now urged the employees who go to the animals to wear PPE kits.

The Lion Safari here currently holds 18 lions.
