Medical oxygen leakage has also become a major problem in the transition to corona. Now the central government has written a letter to all the states advising them to implement the Bikaner model to prevent oxygen wastage.

The first Bhilwara model was also in the spotlight during the Koro era. It is now advisable to implement the Bikaner model nationwide. Recently, PM Modi had discussions with some collectors of the country. During this discussion information was obtained about what kind of efforts are being made by the collectors. In which PM Modi liked Bikaner Collector Namit Mehta's Oxygen Mitra scheme.

For this he understood Mehta’s plan for seven minutes and then praised him. Now the government has advised all the states to implement this model. In April, Collector Mehta, while inspecting a Kovid hospital in his district, observed that oxygen flow continued when patients on oxygen corona were eating or going to the washroom. Even at that time there was a lack of oxygen.

After seeing this he implemented the Oxygen Friend scheme. For this he recruited 100 nursing students in hospitals in eight hour shifts. Who was tasked with monitoring oxygen flow. Applying this concept reduced the oxygen supply in the hospital from 800 cylinders to 600 cylinders.

The Bhilwara model was implemented during the first wave of Corona last year. In which the transition was stopped by imposing a drastic lockdown in the city. Corona patients were found by sealing the city border and kept in an isolation center.
