898 deaths in one day in Maharashtra, 54022 positive, Delhi also unwell


- Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Odisha transition rates continue to rise

Corona has caused an outcry across the country. At present, the number of patients undergoing corona treatment in 12 states of the country is more than 1 lakh. While in 7 states the number is between 50,000 and 1 lakh. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health on Friday, 24 states in the country currently have a transition rate of more than 15 per cent and nine states have rates between 5 and 15 per cent.

Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Chhattisgarh are among the states and Union Territories where the daily incidence of Kovid-19 has been steadily declining. While the transition rate in Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Odisha is steadily increasing.

The Ministry of Health told the states that the beneficiaries who are waiting for the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine should be given priority and the vaccination program should be completed on time.

About 20,000 cases in Delhi

In the last 24 hours, about 20,000 cases of corona were reported in Delhi and about 350 people lost their lives. More than 19,000 people have also recovered. The infection rate in Delhi is 24.92 per cent and the number of active patients is 91,035.

54,022 new cases in Maharashtra

In the last 24 hours, 54,022 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra, the most affected state in the country. During this period 37,386 corona infections were cured and 898 patients lost their lives. The number of active cases in Maharashtra has risen to 6,54,788 and 74,413 people have lost their lives so far.
