West Bengal: 3000 new cases being registered every day

Kolkata, Ta. 13 April 2021, Tuesday

Isn't it Corona's fault in the states where elections are being held ... It is natural to ask such a question and the answer is that Corona's fault is also there.

Corona's transition has also gained momentum in West Bengal amid millions of people flocking to election rallies. Corona's case is now on the rise, along with rallies for the eight-phase election. Corona deaths in Bengal are 1.7 per cent, the third highest in the country and the same as in Maharashtra. While the country's figure is 1.3 percent.

Bengal ranks seventh in the country in terms of Corona transition. The transition rate in Bengal is 6.5 per cent. The transition rate is higher here than the neighboring states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Orissa. In the last seven days, about 3,000 new patients have been admitted to Bengal every day. While 2122 cases are being registered daily in Bihar, 1734 cases are being registered in Jharkhand. However, only 234 new cases are being registered daily in Assam.

The situation in Bengal is better than in Maharashtra, Punjab and Kerala but the way in which new cases are increasing is a matter of concern.
