Wealthy Indians are going to Dubai to get vaccinated at a cost of Rs 55 lakh

Wealthy Indians with Dubai resident visas are heading to Dubai to get vaccinated against corona. The trend began in March, when Dubai allowed resident visa holders to register for the vaccine, with some vaccinators in Dubai and chartered operators saying some were staying in Dubai to get the vaccine dose, while others were moving there. There is a three-week gap between the two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, some said on condition of anonymity.

The cost of getting to and from Dubai to get vaccinated is Rs 35 lakh to Rs 55 lakh, which can be even higher, depending on the operator's price, city of origin, duration of stay in Dubai, and number of passengers, usually the business of Indians.
