The government is neglecting the farmers but we will continue the agitation: farmers protest again

New Delhi, dated 10 April 2021, Saturday

Farmers protesting against the three agricultural laws of the Modi government today once again blocked the highway by protesting in some places in Haryana.

"We have not had any dialogue with the government since January 22," said Rakesh Tiket, a member of the farmers' organization Samyukta Kisan Morcha and a farmer leader. We are now busy informing farmers across the country about the new law. The movement is now spreading across the country and is not limited to one or two states.

Let the government engage in its election campaign. We are ready to run a long agitation. The government wants the farmers to fight violently but we are appealing to the people to keep the peace.

Another farmer leader, Dr Darshan Pal, said plans were being made to continue the agitation on the Delhi border in the coming days.

The government is deliberately delaying negotiations with us. So the farmers are getting annoyed. Arrangements are being made for the scorching heat of summer. The peasant movement is spreading to other states.

Other leaders said, "The government is ignoring us but has moved from within. We will continue the peasant movement and fight till the law is withdrawn."
