The four states refused to vaccinate people over the age of 18, citing such reasons

New Delhi, April 26, 2021

The vaccination campaign for people over the age of 18 is scheduled to start on May 1, but four states in the country have said the campaign cannot start from now.

These four states are Congress-ruled states. Rajasthan, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand say that it is not possible for us to vaccinate people above the age of 18 when we already have low vaccine quantities.

Rajasthan has even said that at the request of the Center, we had approached the Serum Institute in Pune. Is going to go.

Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that the state government should clarify how the state government buys the vaccine if the companies have to fulfill the central government's order first.
