Amid the outcry of corona, India has carried out the world's fastest vaccination campaign, as part of which 100 million doses of vaccine have been given to people in 85 days.
It took 89 days for the United States and 102 days for China to do so. Health ministry officials said India was at the forefront of the global corona vaccine dose, with an average of 38.93 lakh doses being delivered daily.
About 60 per cent of the vaccinations so far have been in eight states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
Corona vaccines have caused an uproar in India, while states are crying out for corona vaccine shortages, with the central government releasing the figures.
