Reliance Foundation becomes more active to help Kovid patients, Mumbai to get 775 free beds


- Reliance decided to take 4 new steps to cooperate with Maharashtra Government and BMC

The Reliance Foundation has stepped up its efforts to serve patients in the country's industrial capital, Mumbai, as cases of covid are on the rise. The Reliance Foundation has become more proactive in providing relief to the people and strengthening the government's campaign against the epidemic. Reliance has decided to take 4 new steps to cooperate with the Maharashtra government and BMC.

* 650 bed facility will be provided in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital NSCI.

* Reliance Foundation will build and operate 100 new ICU beds which will be available in phases from May 15, 2021.

* Sir N Reliance Foundation Hospital will take over the management of a 550-bed ward from May 1. These 550 beds are currently also available to patients.

* Similarly Sir N Reliance Foundation Hospital will manage about 650 beds.

* More than 500 members of the frontline staff, including doctors and nurses, will be available to assist patients 24 hours a day.

* Reliance Foundation will bear the cost of all the items used in the project, such as ICU bed, monitor, ventilator and other medical related machines and 650 beds.
