One more candidate dies from corona in West Bengal, five other candidates infected

In the midst of the election campaign in West Bengal, Corona's scary figures are now coming to the fore, as the transition is picking up here as well.

Another candidate, Pradeep Kumar Nandini, died of corona during today's fifth phase of polling. He was a candidate of the Revolutionary Socialist Party and was undergoing treatment at a hospital. Earlier, a Congress candidate had also died due to corona.

Pradeep Kumar, 73, was admitted to a hospital in Murshidabad after contracting corona. Where he died Friday during treatment. Apart from this, five candidates from different parties contesting the Assembly elections have also been infected with Corona. There are four TMC and one BJP candidate.

Four of these candidates are yet to vote for the seats they are contesting. As many as 7,000 new cases of corona have been reported in Bengal in the last 24 hours and 26 people have lost their lives.
