Numerous fish were found dead off the coast of Cape Town

Cape Town, Ta. 2
Numerous fish were found dead in a suspicious condition off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa. Preliminary findings were presented that these fish died from poisoning. These are pufferfish type species of fish.
A British scientist working on the coast of Cape Town, Dr. Tess Gridley saw 400-500 fish dead on Muisenberg Beach. The Fisheries Department immediately investigated the incident. It was found that these fish are pufferfish species. These fish are considered poisonous and their venom is even more deadly than cyanite.
Locals were advised not to go to the beach after the incident. Eating these fish can also cause serious damage to the heart. Locals were instructed not to venture into the beach for a while, even with pet dogs. It is harmful to get close to these fish because of the release of deadly elements like neurotoxin tetrodotoxin from their dead bodies.
An investigation is underway into the cause of death of the fish. Marine Authority officials have also begun an investigation into how many fish died. The figure is likely to be more than a thousand.
