For the first time, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has publicly admitted that the country is going through a bad time.

According to Korean media reports, Kim told members of his party that the country was in the throes of a 1990 drought and needed a large-scale front to fight the dire economic situation.

Earlier, Kim said North Korea was battling factors such as the Corona virus, US sanctions and natural disasters, and was facing a "very bad situation." Millions were killed.

Kim's remarks suggest that the situation in North Korea is "serious" and that the country is facing the worst situation in Kim's nine-year rule. Party members must be ready to fight.
