Meteorological Department forecast: Monsoon will be normal, 96 to 104 percent rainfall

The meteorological department has forecast some relief in the wake of the Corona transition.

The meteorological department said the monsoon would be normal in the country this time amid the Koro crisis. Rainfall is expected to be 96 to 104 percent this year. The monsoon will be active in the country between June and September. "Farmers seem to be benefiting from the normal monsoon this year," the Centre's meteorological department said.

"The southwest monsoon is forecast to receive 98 per cent rainfall compared to the average," said Rajiv, a meteorological official. Meanwhile, rains and strong winds are forecast in some parts of Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.

Earlier, a private weather forecasting company had also predicted that monsoon is likely to arrive in Kerala on June 1 in India. The monsoon will then proceed on the traditional route and reach Maharashtra and Gujarat.
