Delhi High Court order

The Delhi High Court had directed the IRDAI to direct the insurers to dispose of the cashless claim immediately. Irdai has asked all insurance companies to inform all concerned parties that the cashless claim should be resolved within an hour of Kovid's patient being admitted to the hospital and submitting all the required documents.

Patients will get relief

This will bring relief to all the patients of Corona and also help in eliminating the problem of beds in the hospitals as it will also make it easier to discharge the patients and admit new patients. According to Irdai, the High Court has directed that the cashless claim of Covid-19 be granted within 30 to 60 minutes so that patients are not delayed in discharge and hospital beds remain empty. Earlier, Irdai had directed that the cashless claim be disposed of within 2 hours.
