Now the government in Delhi will mean the lieutenant governor. In fact, the Central Government in Delhi has issued a notification after the President approved the National Capital Territory (Amendment) Act 2021 i.e. GNTCD Act. In the notification, the Home Ministry said, "The National Capital Territory Government of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2021 will be notified from April 27." This clearly means that no action can now be taken without the approval of the Vice-Governor (LG).

The Delhi government will have to seek LG's advice

According to the notification, the government will be referring to the Vice-Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in view of the legislation passed in the Delhi Legislative Assembly.
