If the oxygen problem is not solved, it will be difficult to save lives in Delhi

New delhi date. 22 April 2021, Thursday

Lack of oxygen in hospitals is becoming a major problem amid the wailing of corona in the country's capital Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Manish Sisodia have been repeatedly appealing to the Center to provide oxygen.

Manish Sisodia said today, "We have made internal arrangements for oxygen in the hospitals but after a while it will be difficult to save lives." "Some hospitals in Delhi have run out of oxygen. They have no other option," he said.

Some states are trying to put a brake on the supply of medical oxygen to parts of the country's capital. Despite the quota being increased by the central government, the UP and Haryana governments are blocking supply to Delhi.

Delhi received only 117 metric tonnes of oxygen instead of 378 metric tonnes yesterday. I urge the Central Government to deploy paramilitary forces at the Center if necessary but to deliver oxygen to Delhi under any circumstances.
