The second wave of corona in the country is taking on a more terrifying form day by day. Over the past week or so, more than 3 lakh new cases of corona have been reported in the country every day. More than 3,000 people have died in India for the first time in the last 24 hours. The condition of hospitals in the country is also very dire amid increasing corona transition.

According to a recent report, a total of 3.62 lakh new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. While 3,285 people have lost their lives due to corona. At the same time, the total death toll in India has crossed 2 lakh. With 3,62,902 new cases registered in the last 24 hours, the number of active cases in the country has reached 29,72,106.

So far, a total of 1,79,88,637 people in the country have been infected with corona and a total of 2,01,165 of them have lost their lives due to corona. India ranks fourth in the world in the number of deaths due to corona. The highest number of deaths occurred in the United States, Brazil and Mexico, followed by India.
