Even more dangerous than the Kargil war is the war against the Corona: Former Army Chief General

New delhi date. 19 April 2021, Monday

Retired General VP Malik, who was the Indian Army chief during the Kargil war with Pakistan, compared the current situation in Corona to the Kargil war.

VP Malik said the war against Korona was even more dangerous than Kargil. Corona has killed 2,400 people in India in two days. That is more than two and a half times the number of soldiers killed in the Kargil war. But is the country really paying attention to this war?

He also criticized the ongoing peasant agitation, election rallies and religious programs in the country and the lack of necessary resources against the Korons. General Malik also appealed to the countrymen to be vigilant.

It may be mentioned that 527 of our soldiers were killed in the Kargil war against Pakistan. By comparing it with Korona, General Malik has tried to explain how dangerous the war against Korona is.
