Corona vaccination for people over the age of 18 in MP will not start from May 1, find out the reason

In Madhya Pradesh, corona vaccination campaign for people above 18 years of age will not be started from May 1. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the campaign would not be launched from May 1 as there was no vaccine from vaccine manufacturers. He said the state is likely to give the vaccine dose on May 3, after which the vaccination program will be started, but when it will come, the date will be announced by the chief minister.

The Chief Minister said that the work of vaccinating persons above the age of 45 years would continue. Chief Minister Chauhan today reviewed the work of corona vaccination in the state through video conferencing from his residence. The video conferencing was attended by Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleiman and all concerned officials.

Chief Minister Chauhan said that corona vaccine would also be administered free of cost to people above 18 years of age. Vaccination will be done by the manufacturer as soon as the dose of vaccine arrives. Shivraj Singh Chauhan suggested that new vaccination centers should be set up in view of coronavirus infection, vaccination should not be done in hospitals.
