Corona: Oxygen Express from Bokaro to Lucknow, Air Force working to deliver containers

- The Air Force will airlift 23 mobile oxygen generation plants from Germany

The country is currently grappling with the Corona crisis. Oxygen scarcity is the biggest crisis between the ever-increasing number of cases and the rising death toll. The Air Force has now taken the lead in tackling the crisis. The Air Force is now engaged in transporting oxygen containers from one place to another.

Two C17 aircraft of the Indian Air Force delivered two large oxygen containers, IL76 an empty container to Pannagadh in Bengal. All the three containers will be filled with oxygen and brought to Delhi. The Air Force will carry out such operations in different parts of the country to provide oxygen supply.

Not only that, the Air Force's 23 mobile oxygen generation plants will also be airlifted from Germany so that it can be installed close to the hospital and continue to supply oxygen without interruption.

Earlier, the Air Force had delivered a covid testing setup at Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh so that the testing process would not be hampered in any way. Notably, hospitals in many states of the country are currently facing oxygen shortage.

According to the central government, there is no shortage of oxygen but there is a shortage of supply. It is taking time as oxygen is being delivered by road in many places. Due to this, there is a shortage of oxygen in dozens of states including Delhi, Maharashtra, UP, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.

Oxygen Express leaves Bokaro for Lucknow

Oxygen crisis is currently going on in different states of the country. Due to this, the supply is being accelerated by Oxygen Express from Bokaro in Jharkhand. The Oxygen Express left Bokaro for Lucknow on Friday with a total of 3 tankers.

Oxygen Express has brought 3 tankers from Lucknow. About 50 tons of liquid oxygen was filled in just 4 hours. Bokaro is supplying to UP, MP, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Bengal.
